Office tank update

Finally got time to finish setting up my external fiter for my office tank. First i need to clean it cause it has been stored in my store for quite some time. Also got two sturgeon and 3 clown loach yesterday.

Life without maid

Our maid has gone back cambodia, and new maid has not arrived yet. So this week has been pretty chaotic, in a way that everyone has to help out with house chores. Today i dig out my old resun filter to be installed into my office tank. Overkill? Thats monsterfishkeepers way of fish keeping. However it turn chaotic when i try to run the pump. It leaks!!!!! Too tired from all the mopping. Will update tomorrow the finished installation. Now gotta do with the filter pictures.

Transporting 6m pipe

So how do i transport a 6m 4inch pipe with my pajero? 6m definately cannot fit into my car so i cut it half. Check it out.

Sunday with Hanjein & Family

Went to the curve and meet up with my buddy han jein and his family. Very tiring day watching my kids at newly opened Kid's e World.Also checkout my daughter singing along to barbie song.

Fish casualties

Remember my bichir and chinese hi fin? Both bought from same fish shop. Sadly, both of them did not make it in my tank. They eat ad soon as introduce into my tank. On the bichir i noticed there is some kind of infection on the bottom of the body near the mouth. In the meantime i think i will not buy fish from that particular shop, and im thinking of setting up a quarantine tank.

Plant filter

What is a plant filter? I've got a lot of space in my filter sump. So i planted some fast growing plants to suck up the nitrates. Works or not, im not sure myself because the plant is not much. However its worth the effort as it looks nice. The light for the sump plant is on at night. Hopefully it can supplement some oxygen to the main tank at night. I also bought some plants for my main tank, it will be transfered to main tank when the sump plant has establised. I dun want algae growing on main tank.
